Beware the Ghost of History 2016 Rubbing of Chenjerai ‘Hitler’ Hunzvi’s tombstone at Heroes Acre, Zimbabwe 42.5 x 74 cm

Born with the name Chenjerai, meaning ‘beware’ in Shona and taking the nom-de-guerre ‘Hitler’ in the war, Hunzvi was Chairman of the Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association.  In the year 2000 Hunzvi led the campaign involving war veterans and other Zanu-PF supporters in the seizure of white-owned farms.
